Majority of the horror films are based on ghost-theme. A ghost or spirit that persist even after the body is dead. Films depict them mostly as avenger ghost, having some sorts of supernatural power and trying to fulfill its desire. Now, if you are asked, “Do you believe in ghosts?" What would you reply ‘Ay' or ‘Nay'. Some do not believe in supernatural powers like ghosts. But mostly, people believe in spirits that loiter around seeking its victim. Reason— Either the person's spirit got stuck somewhere or could not free itself due to some reasons. Beside these, there are numerous theories and assumptions and vary from societies to religions. And this is what Hollywood and Bollywood portray. People like to watch such thriller and one's believe increases in such things. If you believe that ghosts exist, that means you also believe: ‘an individual's spirit is bound within his/her body and when he or she dies, the spirit leaves the body and the same above story goes on'. This matter is really in shade and lots of doubts and confusion, because no one can taste death and be in witness box.

What the Bible Says?
Bible has many verses which we do not understand and give rises to many interpretations, due to its uses of metaphors, idioms, personification, similes and various styles of figure of speech. Here, we too get confusion when the Bible speaks about the ‘death' and 'soul'. So let's know how and what Bible quote on this.
Components of Living Being
A man is an example of ‘living being' or ‘living soul' and also includes animals. In the beginning, God made Adam's body out of dust as a first component. But the body alone didn't have feelings and consciousness. It was just similar to a robot without batteries and commanding software. He then blew the ‘breath of life' to Adam, which is the second component. This in combine give us the equation » living soul= breath of life + body. This two components are indivisible. It is important to understand that, Adam's body was first only a body, in the sense it was made up of earth's elements. It didn't constitute any other cosmic material. To make it a living being God blew breath of life. This power can be availed only from God alone. In other hand, Satan doesn't have the ability to give life. He might make a body lookalike as of ours, or even human in near future can assemble the earth's elements to form a flesh, but can't give us life. Life just doesn't mean movement but emotions, responses, ability to reproduce, feelings of individuality and consciousness. Also take note that there is no where in the Bible that mention living soul is made up of any third unit. We do not find ‘soul' existed when a different/independent unit entered or was received by the body. Breath of life is abstract, but we can feel as we are alive, we can understand, show emotions and have power of choices and individuality sense. After Death
Ecclesiastes 9:13, “... and the dust (body) returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it". Bible neither support spirit have its own intelligence and consciousness, nor pursue second life chain anywhere else. Except God, None is Immortal
Whether its human race or some other forms of life, its life ending is shown by death. It implies to both ‘body' and ‘breath of life'. Neither breath of life can be immortal nor the body. Let us see the book of I Timothy written by Paul as a letter to Timothy. In chapter 1, verse 17, Paul expresses God's grace on him and praises him as “... the King eternal, immortal, indivisible, the only God,....”. Again further in 6:16, while Paul charges Timothy for challenging the good fight, Paul uses adjectives to describe the name of God “ who alone is immortal....". Stress the word ‘alone’ and ‘only' in both the verses. If a person dies, his life is literally subject to death which means full termination. He further cannot change to zombie, vampire, ghost and all sorts of nonsense. Even the healthiest have to go through the death.
