How far Astrology is True?

Despite being rejected by the scientific community, it still persist in the modern world. Not to get confused with the term Astronomy (mere study of stars and cosmic space), astrology is the study of —stars and planets influencing people various factors on the basis of their position. Indian, Chinese and Mayans astrology has the most influences. Jyotisha (Indian astrology), where astronomy and astrology are blended, claims and boast many prediction and fortunes. But none of these have been ever right. Countries of western too follow horoscope system to relate an individual person's fortune and events. Yet, we all know that none could prevent biggest tragedy events like WTC tragedy, World Wars, Tsunami, Earthquake.

Joytisha is blindly held high in Indian community. Majority of the names and events like marriage, inauguration are done with the help of astrologist consultancy. Yet, there are lethal terrorist attack, earthquake, flood and always failed to predict a party's election victory. May be its personal? If the astrology doesn't apply to such essential events and calamities, how can it determine an individual's fate. It is followed blindly since it appears more as traditional trend than a belief. Scientific community in India accept it as a pseudoscience. However, in 2001, Andhra High court granted as a subject to pursue to higher degrees. This was hugely opposed and was seen as “giant leap back way". Petition for decision reconsideration was turned down. It gets large support from media,spiritual leader,VIPs, high profile personality and the government too. In spite of the fact that an astrology's method only lies on ariel foundation, news channels heavily promote astrology TV programs, where one can ask for solution to the astrologist. In return, the astrologist gives some illogical tasks and solution. This only make the viewer either too granted of life events or creates fear of committing error in fulfilling astrological guidelines.

As a Pseudoscience
Astrology origined way back when our ancestors learned how to interpret certain natural phenomena. They watched, traced and recorded the movements of sun and stars. Its movements affected the seasonal changes. Moon brought about low and high tide and river floods. Naked eye can only see five planets— Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Hence no question of remaining planets arises dealing with astrology. The relation between cosmic phenomena and earthly events lead to further thinking that if the heavenly bodies can determine earthly changes, why can't it determine a person's fate or a king's empire progression. Their root concept was and is : A person born on a certain day, will have his or her future based on the positions of planets in a certain constellations during the birth of his or her birth time. This rapidly led to growth in undefined logic astrology. They further added and mixed up with the astronomy and mathematics. And today we have high profile, reknown and professional astrologist. You might have also noticed that, the astrologers only give upper layer prediction i.e. general personality traits. Yet their tradition survive up to date and are immensely followed. It is easily accessible in news papers, TV news, magazines etc. 
    Scientific community not at all agree with the astrology and many tests had been conducted. Not a single test had been ever highlighted to satisfy the possibility of astrology. Most famous test was of Shawn Carlson's Double Blind Test which focused on fairness of test conducting which was always questioned by the astrologers. Carlson (department of physics, university of california) designed a bias free experiment to test natal astrology. It was concluded that, out of 28 astrologers none could score interpretation results more than fifty percent. Prior to test it was agreed by both astrologers and scientific community that 50% should be the passing margin. Hence, the final impression was that, astrologers could not predict better than a probability (chances of incidences/events). For say, a tossed coin can either land head or tail. Here, chances of predicting a coin's face is half unless some magic appears. There had been many researches to check whether planets and stars determine our probabilities. But, until now no such connection has been found between celestial bodies and human being.

If it is wrong, how did it persist?
Lucifer is the big hand behind this. We know that Lucifer too have powers and he utilizes in deceiving mankind. He has no pleasure in telling someone's fortune either true or false, but to uproot the faith of believers from God. He knows very well that an upright man has a narrow and thorny path. When we fall, he offers for many deceiving aids and shortcuts and astrology being one of them. We look for fortuneteller who relieve us from life of hustle. They give us some attempt able tasks which shines our fortune. It generate feelings of dependance on some magic tricks and shortcuts. But remember success only credits and takes hardwork's merits, not some stars and planets' deities. In that process we forget that the God who is Almighty. Matt 5:14 says “I am the light of the world". But not even God alone can help. If you are taking an examination, you will pass on your hard work basis but not by fulfilling some tasks that your fortuneteller prescribed or some house setup as according to your astrology expert. Yet many follow and believe it because as i mentioned above Satan do have powers, and prediction comes true very often. 
Bible verses clearly forbid us trusting astrologer rather than God. Fall of Babylon is talked about in the book of Isaiah and astrologers are mentioned in Isaiah 47:12-15, “.... Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions.... surely they are like stumble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame....". We also see in the book of Daniel 2, daniel discredits them as they failed to interpret king's dream. Observe verses 27th and 28th, “ No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about...". In last, true or false prediction is not the question, but to check our faith foundation on God or do we submit to chain of Satan's slavery? Do not roam behind and seek for astrologer's guidance.
