Coffee and Adventist

Adventists are often labelled as Cult denomination because the church suffers from many convenient laws. Convenient laws in the sense, the laws which sound soothing to all class of people. Now saying "NO" to coffee or tea sounds not typical. This is what Satan use his method of deception in disguise!. Satan knows what's the human trends, likings and disliking. Most people (including adventist) have printed thought in their minds that— not drinking tea or coffee is just an Adventist trend or say some sorts of show off. But its not true. Such trend is not for the sake of religion directly, but for our own health and sound body

Once I had been to a non-adventist house. They offered me a cup of tea, "No thanks" I said. The reaction was, "Got you, must be a shanicharwa (Local term for addressing an adventist in India)" further he added, "I knew an adventist man who denied tea, but caught him drinking Liquor." Well his statement was whether true or false, in both the cases sounds like a game's rule broken. Remember, NOT DRINKING COFFEE OR TEA IS NOT FOR BEING CALLED AN ADVENTIST, BUT FOR YOUR SOUND HEALTH, where it automatically agrees with adventist trend.There are many non-christians who abide by these principle. Had I been non-christian, I would have followed the same.

WHAT IS THE SERIOUS LOGIC BEHIND?
Such beverages contain Caffeine. Caffeine's bad impacts are—
• Caffeine decieves your nervous system. But that's only the beginning. It also increases the fatty acids that circulate in your blood. The increase in fatty acids plus the stress effect and increases in blood pressure brought about by caffeine sets the stage for a heart attack. The medical profession is only now beginning to appreciate the reality of this danger. Statistic show that heavy tea and coffee drinkers are not only more vulnerable to heart attack, they are also more susceptible to all types of disease. Often when the patient stops drinking coffee, the problem of premature extra heart beats disappears.
• Caffeine also causes your stomach to produce more acid, often creating heart burn. Heavy coffee drinking can also reduce stomach ulcers. An internist from the Mayo Clinic says that she refused treat any ulcer patient who was unwilling to quit drinking tea and coffee.
• Coffee produces stress effect because of the extra catacholamines (epinephrine and norepinephrine) that stimulates the body to produce. This is a factor in the elevated blood pressure found in coffee drinkers. High blood pressure is one of the main risk factors in heart attacks.
• The caffeine stress effect also partially paralyzes the intestinal tract. Digestion and absorption of food take longer. What you eat stays longer in your intestine thus increasing the transit time of the bowel. This produce gas and indigestion, and increases the chance of colon cancer.Hence Caffeine is a villain!
