The Origin of Sin

ORIGIN OF SIN

Sin aetiology is very difficult to comprehend and some parts remains to be mystery. Though human race have advanced very much in knowledge as much as that we can even travel to the moon, but we may sometimes never be able to answer or imagine some questions. For instance, we can't imagine the end point of universe, we can't say the smallest or biggest integer numbers. But Bible do give us some stories of sin's beginning and its adverse result.

Lucifer the root cause
Lucifer was the head of all angels and superior to rest of angels in terms of talent. He had beautiful voice to sing, was perhaps the most handsome and with high intellectual powers. All these factors created 'self love' and began to accumulate. It slowly turned him rebellious against God, because he felt it was only God who makes him inferior. He didn't like other angels to bow down before him. Lucifer wanted to be worshiped and praised all alone.
<h2 style="background-color:F8F8F8;"><font color="green">"... I will be like the most high."—Isaiah 14:12-14</font color></h2>
Self-seeking desires made Lucifer to lie among other angels. He started to create doubts on God's leadership and told them He is injustice and confines their freedom. Many believed him (as until now none had heard a lie) and as a result there was partition among angelic beings. Ultimately,
<h2 style="background-color:F8F8F8;"><font color="green">"And war broke out in heaven: Michael and His angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail nor was a place found in heaven any longer." </font color></h2> And as a result <h2 style="background-color:F8F8F8;"><font color="green">"...dragon ...and  his angels were cast out ..." —Revelation 12:7-9</h2></font color>

<strong><h3> Did God make Lucifer imperfect?</h3></strong>
No, Lucifer was pure, perfect and also very intelligent<font color="green">(Read Ezekiel 28:12-15).</font color> As said earlier origin of sin is still unclear and mysterious. However, Bible do reveal us that like us, all heavenly beings including Lucifer were having the <strong> Power of Choice </strong>. God gave the Power of choice because He didn't want anyone to obey Him forcefully and out of fear, also true love can't be generated unless he or she has the free will. One can make anyone show false respect but that wouldn't be genuine but of fear. Though the power of choice is an amazing gift of God but it carries the risk of rejection and disobedience. Lucifer too fell into this sad choice and decided to rebel along with other angels whom he had convinced them falsely. Next, the big question is —<strong>Why didn't God destroy the Lucifer there and there? </strong>First, It's because destroying Lucifer could have generated doubts and Lucifer 's counsel left behind could have intensified among the minds of heavenly beings. Second, Had He done that, fear would have been created. Thus, we can understand that God's principles lie on 'Love' and for that freedom of choice was must.
<p>Terminating Lucifer was not the best way to make rest of the angels understand the pain of disobedience. Instead, He allowed Lucifer to continue his path. Soon the heavenly beings began to understand when Lucifer and his group were physically cast out of heaven. Later, in order to fill the loneliness and vacuum created by the Lucifer and one-third of angels God created the Earth and the beautiful couple comprising Adam and Eve. Earth was filled with beautiful things and all sorts of creatures and vegetation. None were harmful, snake didn't have poison, tigers were friendly and there were no thorns in roses and at that time none were subject to death. And on every seventh day God Himself came to meet and spend time with the couple Adam and Eve. On the other hand, all these happiness were not tolerated by the Lucifer. Hence, he decided to use humans for his selfish advantage. He used a serpent as medium to talk and tempt in eating the forbidden fruit, which God had put in the garden of Eden to test  human's obedience. Consequently, our first parents yielded to Lucifer's temptation, hence, sin entered the earth. God had said that the day they will eat the forbidden fruit, they will die but they didn't die physically but spiritually. Thus, all were subject to unavoidable death. In addition, wild animals were no longer friendly, thorns and thistles sprouted crawling creatures had toxic venom and right now people kill each other, countries fight over political issues. Furthermore, hatred, jealousy, murders, calamities, adultery and uncountable wickedness has become forms of sin.
<h2><strong><font color="yellow"> God's plan to save us from sin</font color></strong></h2>
Those were the dark colors of sin that we see. Christ hints us that prior to His second coming these events will become very common. <h2 style="background-color:F8F8F8;"><font color="green">"countries will fight each other, kingdoms will attack one another. There will be famines and earthquakes everywhere." —matthew 24:7.</font color></h2>Likewise, Mark 13:24, Rev. 6:13 also tell us. Entry of sin to Earth gave Lucifer (now called Satan) the power and control over earth. It's because of him there are diseases, sufferings and tormentations. However, he still doesn't have full control over us. Satan can't drive our mind directly but he can tempt through his bait. It' because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice he doesn't have full power over humanity.<p> Wages of sin is death and therefore we deserved death. But God had plan to save humanity and that is to die for us as a substitute penalty for sin. God willingly agreed to leave His divine form and became flesh. Despite His human nature He overcame all sins and temptations and left many example for us. Finally, Christ was crucified on mt. Calvary. This also gave us chance to restore our relationship with our creator and the most important Christ's sacrifice made a way to avail the <u><strong>conditional immortality.</strong></u></p> It's up to us whether to reject or accept God's greatest offer i.e Endless joy and happiness and conditional immortality.<h2 style="background-color:F8F8F8;"  ><font color="green">"How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation "—hebrews 2:3</font color></h2>If we happen to succeed in this earthly test then we will no longer face sorrows and sufferings of sin. Christ promise us that His coming will be imminent and sudden. Therefore, let's be prepared.

Coffee and Adventist

Adventists are often labelled as Cult denomination because the church suffers from many convenient laws. Convenient laws in the sense, the laws which sound soothing to all class of people. Now saying "NO" to coffee or tea sounds not typical. This is what Satan use his method of deception in disguise!. Satan knows what's the human trends, likings and disliking. Most people (including adventist) have printed thought in their minds that— not drinking tea or coffee is just an Adventist trend or say some sorts of show off. But its not true. Such trend is not for the sake of religion directly, but for our own health and sound body Once I had been to a non-adventist house. They offered me a cup of tea, "No thanks" I said. The reaction was, "Got you, must be a shanicharwa (Local term for addressing an adventist in India)" further he added, "I knew an adventist man who denied tea, but caught him drinking Liquor." Well his statement was whether tr

Rich and Poor

In this post , I do not strongly mean and talk how or whether to help a poor financially rather how we approach, behave, show attitude and perceive a person who is financially inferior. I believe, to show love and care towards the poor is one of the most difficult task. My country India is a developing country but those who are poor becomes more and more poor and those who are rich will rise up and up. I don't know about other countries but we have line up of millionaires. Ambani made news for being world top 5 earners for last 5 years. There are many industrialist, film actors and politician who have money stock that we can't imagine. But I don't remember anyone who has done work like mother Teresa. She was not as rich as others but showed her love and care towards the poor. There are many trusts and NGOs run by celebrities, business tycoons and high profile characters. But that has become philanthropist's show-off. Even if they spend crores on philanthropy work
